Busy busy

Hello, hope you are all well.Yes I have been busy, that is no excuse though. My health has not been good either, which has not been helping and often find myself in bed at a very early hour.

I have a bit of news regarding my website.  I have taken the decision to set up a separate web site for all my craft items that I am selling off.  I felt at times that these items often were taking over the shop, so I set up www.kcardssupplies.co.uk. I will only charge a flat rate on that site for postage, and of course you are able to call me at home to pay over the phone, so mark your order as paid by postage.  So any excess craft items I have or not going to use then I will put it up here instead of the main shop.

I have been keeping busy on the sewing front, and trying to get Esty off the ground as well.  I have had to take the child mai-tei off sale as I need to get them CE tested, and will be making an appearance in the new year.

Robert has been helping me model some of my items for sale, as you can see getting very gorgeous, but then I am his mother!!  Some of the things he comes out with, only out of the mouth of babes……….

I have made a few hats, some have been okay some not, finding it difficult to sew round circles, but I am sure I will get the hang of it at some point.

I made some more sewing weight, with this fabulous ice cream material, when the hat gave me frustration, I turned it into the weights!

I also made some bottle bags, they need some further work on them, but they will be a new product in the new year.

I saw a pattern in Craftseller for a Halloween bag and made it of material rather than felt, I then had the idea for the smaller treat bags, using a bag pattern I had an only used half of the material, I then adapted them for Christmas, they are up for sale in the shop if you are interested in purchasing them.

I also seen this pattern on line, and thought that this would be ideal for crafters for holding their money and with it looping onto your belt.

Fingers crossed my health recovers soon, and I may also have a new job in the new year too!

Ohh weeell

You would of thought I would of finished being ill, oh no, no sooner than I got rid of one thing, I ended up with another.  Did not spend a good birthday at the beginning of May as I could tell I was not well and ohhh boy was I bad. Starting to get better but hope to be completely better soon.

I have managed to do some sewing and feeling really proud with what I have achieved.

I have done a couple of children’s Mai –tai’s and love the fabrics I chosen. I found the basic patterns on the web but adapted them for me.

I have done some basic models and a luxury version.

I have also made some sewing weights out of fox fabric and also made some teeny weenie ones too.

Thought I would also show you my lunch bag I made, very handy for transporting my lunch and I hope to introduce a version with insulating batting in to keep things hot/cold.

Poorley me ;-(

Poorly me. Unfortunately that has been me since October last year. No sooner than little one fell ill, I caught it, and that was me. Did not really recover until January, then been one mishap after the other! Last one being, I trapped my finger in the car door currently a lovely shade of purple.

Fallen ill again, so will not do a proper blog at the moment.

Been cheering myself up, and bought a Cut N Boss from Create and Craft. Decided to sell my cuttlebug and upgrade, can't wait for it to arrive!

Here is some sewing that has been done over the period.
